πͺ A Window into our February πͺThis February was filled with science, art, dancing, engineering, and so much more! β΅οΈ Little Learners & Mini CafΓ© Our youngest students explored design and engineering by creating boats with carefully crafted sails and testing their functionality. They also painted stunning artwork using sponges and brushes. Beyond the classroom, they continue to enjoy the beauty of Chardon Square, meeting new community members along the way! π Explorers Our Explorers were busy spreading love to the community, delivering kindness to local firefighters and small businesses. They also put their engineering skills to the test by simulating penguin feet, experimenting with how Arctic animals stay warm using blubber, and even building snap circuits! βοΈ Teen Program, Open CafΓ©, & ECE The highlight of the month was the Snow Ball Teen Danceβa huge success thanks to our incredible teens, who planned every detail with precision. In addition, they participated in a STEAM workshop, where they built kaleidoscopes and explored light refraction and mirroring. Meanwhile, in their history studies, they wrapped up their project on Ancient Rome and are excited to dive into Ancient Egypt next! β¨ A Special Thank You A heartfelt thank you to the TLC staff for going above and beyond to make the teen dance a reality. We are so grateful for the dedicated and caring adults who support our teens and children every day. π Looking Ahead to March With the arrival of spring on the horizon, we are looking forward to warmer weather and all the exciting new opportunities it brings!
